These texts reflect a range of complexity levels. The test uses a combination of academic and workplace texts. The GED reading test primarily focuses on comprehension because that is the best predictor for test readiness. A variety of item types are used in the test, including multiple-choice, drag-and-drop, hot spot, and fill-in-the-blank. The GED math practice test focuses on the fundamentals of mathematics, striking a balance of deeper conceptual understanding, procedural skill and fluency, and the ability to apply math fundamentals in realistic situations. Your official practice test will automatically resume where you left off. If you don’t have time to complete the test, no worries.
